It's extremely hot in our part of the Desert SW and this type of cove barely lasts the season. That's why we bought two of them, three years ago! It hasn't chipped, cracked or faded. It's amazing that after I hose the dust and dirt off, it looks like new again. So in the meantime, the 2nd one sits in the garage brand new in the box! We have an awesome gas grill, so it will get used some year in the future!
