Upon getting the book everyone in the family uses it. It shows you very clearly how to draw by adding in one or two basic shapes at a time. It's the best book to learn how to do a decent illustration that I've seen. Everyone in the house from 50 years old down to 8 has used and enjoyed this book. It has not only machines but animals, house hold items, buildings and figures.
