I did purchase two sets to have it large enough. I ended up have about 12 extra squares and I use those from room to room or house to house when a safe area is needed. They are thick and wipe clean easily. Not sure why others were saying they had a strong smell. I have a very sensitive nose and I didnt smell anything unusual.
