We have hard water, which tends to bring out the range/ red in my hair, and this did work to remove that. To get rid of brassiness from bleaching my hair, I had more luck with Color X-Change Semi-Permanent Hair Color, TONALITY TONER than any other product I had tried (ex: purple or blue shampoos, other toners, manic panic grey, etc etc). **Q: Is this a treament like the purple one i got** A: I wouldn't get it, it completely destroyed my hair and half of it broke off.
