And with a MTBF of 2.5 million hours, that's 235 YEARS, so I have no issue buying a refurb Enterprise drive that was manufactured 2 years ago. I'll write another review in another 233 years and let you know how they are going... All Four of these drives came in a sealed anti-static bag, and bubble wrap, nicely nestled in a box. Good job GoHardDrives. They installed in my NAS without incident, were tested for 30 hours, and they are now running cool and quiet. Highly recommended. I would have liked a bit higher capacity, but going up to 8GB brought the price up too high. These were only a little more expensive than new 4GB drives so I decided upon these. They have been working fine. They feel like solidly built drives. They are a bit noisy on seeking, but its not bothersome to me and I like drives that make some noise when being used so I can tell there is access going on without having to look over at lights. I am very happy with the drive and not sure why people had complained about the noise. I have a lan box, pretty much mesh on all sides for improved air flow, but i don't hear the drive. So for my personal experience, its quiet as my others. I did a complete format and test of the drive, all sectors were good. The performance is as listed. The drive was packaged well (brown box) and appeared in new condition. Im building a new media server and will be buying more.
