It took about an hour and a half, and much of that time was unpacking the two boxes. The company packed it very carefully with lots of protection. It contained *almost* everything I needed to put it together: I also needed a small Phillips head screwdriver.The chairs are comfortable and solid: they can take a heavy person.The customer service was very good: one of my chair cushions had pen ink stains on it, and the company sent me a replacement right away.I'm glad they didn't ask for the marked up one back: one of my cats has appropriated it as a cat scratching toy.
