That's what makes this hoist nice! No hand crank or anything to fool with. **Q: How does this mount to the stand?** A: I have mine on a molly loop on my belt(saddle hunter- no stand) but you could remove the clip off the back -1 screw- and drill a hole in clip and stand and permanently mount. **Q: How long is the cord ?** A: I wouldn’t know it didn’t last long enough to measure it.
