Review: Got this to help me kick my vaping habit. - This gum is fantastic. Not only does it have Xylitol as the primary ingredient, but the flavor just lasts and lasts. I have been using this gum to help me kick my vaping habit as when I chew gum that keeps my mouth busy, I don't feel much need to want to vape. Besides that, vaping with gum in your mouth usually makes your gum taste like crud. The pieces look like a large chiclet that I get from Mexico when I go down to visit. I usually pop 2 of them for maximum effect. Hell yesterday alone, I was chewing on the same 2 pieces for well over 4hrs and the only reason I spit them out, was to eat dinner. The flavor is decent, but the initial strong taste of pomegranate goes away quickly. While the mint flavor stays to entertain your taste buds. Consistency is soft through and through. You can easily blow bubbles with it, should you choose to do so. Stickiness is meh. Depends on what you define as sticky? I think it's just right, but you may feel different. Oh and the pouch that holds all your chiclet goodness is easy to hide in a backpack, purse, body bag, etc. It also happens to be my primary gum that I will chew now. I already got the variety pack in my cart for my next purchase of this chewy mouth goodness. Definitely buy, but beware....you may be chewing this gum for hours on end with a delightful happiness on your face.

**Q: How much xylitol does a single piece of gum contain?**
A: 1 gram per piece, though the gum base used in Pur gum, like most chewing gum, is polyvinyl acetate (plastic), while Epic uses natural chicle. I don't see titanium dioxide listed as an ingredient in Epic gum, unless that's a "natural flavoring," but still, people go out of their way to avoid just eating/drinking from plastic containers and then end up chewing plastic unknowingly when having a piece of gum! No thanks!

**Q: Is the Pur Gum, Peppermint, made from corn or from birch?**
A: PUR Gum is 100% corn-free. The xylitol we use is derived from sustainably grown birch and beech trees in Europe. PUR Mints, however, are made with a corn derivative, maize dextrin. And all of our products are made in Switzerland, and are certified non-GMO!

**Q: what is the gum base made from in this product?**
A: From a review (not mine): "Our gum base is not all-natural, but it is the highest quality of synthetic gum base on the market - it is sourced from Europe and made with the highest quality which means it will never breakdown or end up in your digestive system! The only ingredients ingested from our gum, is all-natural flavors and sweeteners. The exact breakdown of our gum base is proprietary information, but we can assure you that it is made of the highest quality." -Supposedly a corporate response from a customer inquiry.

**Q: how many pieces?**
A: Due to fluctuations in production, the number of pieces included in each bag range between 55-57. When we redesigned the bag, we decided to list the lower end of the count instead of the higher to make up for the discrepancies. So you will always receive at least 55 pieces.

This gum is fantastic. Not only does it have Xylitol as the primary ingredient, but the flavor just lasts and lasts. I have been using this gum to help me kick my vaping habit as when I chew gum that keeps my mouth busy, I don't feel much need to want to vape. Besides that, vaping with gum in your mouth usually makes your gum taste like crud. The pieces look like a large chiclet that I get from Mexico when I go down to visit. I like Pur gum, but the pomegranate flavor is nasty. The cinnamon and mint flavors are good. I like that it is good for the teeth and help prevent cavities. Good value for a xylitol gum. The package reveals for carrying. 0 sugar.
