You avoid harsh chemicals. But did you know that over 90% of native bees don’t live in hives? They nest in hollow stems, old wood, or tiny holes – spaces that tidy gardens often remove. That’s why this hanging bee house wooden insect house was made – to bring back those missing nesting spots in a beautiful, space-saving design. Review: needs to be waterproofed - Cute and well made but so far I haven't noticed any insects using it. I do recommend coating the outside of the house with a natural water repellant like beeswax or something to protect it from getting waterlogged and warping, especially if you live in a wet or humid environment. It looks adorable in the garden and I can't wait til some insects move in. I hope the bees like it as much as I do. Review: Wonderful - This little bee house is a cute addition to the garden and a great way to encourage beneficial insects. The wooden design blends nicely with outdoor spaces, and it’s easy to hang in a garden, yard, or near plants. I love that it supports pollinators and other helpful insects while also adding a charming decorative touch. A nice choice for gardeners who enjoy creating a more wildlife-friendly space. ## Features - A Cozy Welcome for Garden’s Best Helpers–This hanging bee house wooden insect house is thoughtfully sized for solitary bees, butterflies, ladybirds, and other beneficial pollinators. Unlike messy wild brush piles, this beneficial insect habitat brings natural pest control and better blooms to patios, balconies, and smaller yards. - Weather-Resistant Cedar Wood – Built for All Seasons–Crafted from natural cedar (no stains or chemical sealers that might harm insects). The sloped roof sheds rain, while the open front allows airflow without trapping moisture. This bug hotel garden shelter stays dry and inviting through spring showers, summer heat, and autumn winds. - Hanging – No Tools or Drilling–Simply hang it on a tree branch, fence, deck hook, or shepherd’s pole. Perfect for for bee, butterfly, ladybirds lovers who want a functional habitat without complicated assembly or power tools. - Multi-Level Habitat, Not Just for Bees–Each 4.7*2.95*9inch unit features layered nesting zones: bamboo tubes for mason and leafcutter bees, wider chambers for ladybirds and lacewings, and small crevices for overwintering butterflies. A true bug hotel garden in a compact footprint that fits any garden aesthetic. - Low Maintenance – Just Hang & Enjoy–Pre-filled with natural bamboo nothing to assemble. Replace bamboo tubes every 1–2 seasons as needed. No daily cleaning. Hang in early spring, and watch your garden become a lively beneficial insect habitat with zero extra effort. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0H1GKTYF2 | | Best Sellers Rank | #256,861 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #75 in Backyard Insect Hotels | | Brand | Abirdflyer | | Brand Name | Abirdflyer | | Color | Blue | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 3 Reviews | | Dog Breed Size | Small | | Included Components | bee house wooden | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 2.95"D x 4.7"W x 9"H | | Item Weight | 16 ounces | | Manufacturer | Abirdflyer | | Material | Wood | | Material Type | Wood | | Model Number | Y-MZKCW-20001 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Product Dimensions | 2.95"D x 4.7"W x 9"H | | Product Style | Art Deco | | Style | Art Deco | ## Images ![Hanging Bee House Wooden Insect House 9inch–Small Solitary Bee Hive for Garden, Beneficial Insect Habitat for Butterfly & Ladybirds Easy to Hang & Weatherproof - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71A1bS2E-qL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ needs to be waterproofed *by D***. on September 11, 2026* Cute and well made but so far I haven't noticed any insects using it.
