Our kids love "penny sweets" as they are known in this house and I was really pleased with the special offer this huge jar of sweets were being sold at half price. Thinking I was getting a bargain I actually got a jar of very dry, hard sweets which are really uneatable.The sell-by date is May 2021 which I was pleased with but the sweets themselves are long past their best by date as the wrapped ones are melted and sticky, nearly impossible to get out of the wrapper in one piece. The loose ones are uneatable as they are dried out and sickly. Therefore the 75% of them ended up in the compost heap though the jar is long tall and made of hard plastic as well as having a screw top.It really was the case of you really do pay for what you get!Maybe I was simply unlucky and received a bad batch, but this is one customer who will not be returning for a repeat purchase.Not recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 January 2020* One of the best I’ve bought off Amazon.
