The colors are bold without being garish and the engraving on the buckle is very easily legible and looks very high end. The size was exactly right and easy to adjust. The reason I wanted this collar was to cut down on some of the jingle jangle of our dog's tag hanging from his collar. Even though he's microchipped, we feel better having our phone numbers on him at all time just in case he manages to somehow get out of our fence. Unfortunately, as great as it looks, this option is just as noisy. The buckle itself is all metal and it clicks and clanks away at every step and hop. I won't be sending it back because it does look so great. We'll probably just save it for times we're traveling or out and about and want him to look particularly smart. It is sturdy and very well made. I didn't want to listen to dog tags and this was my solution. I am very pleased with this product. I bought it for a small dog but I am sure it would have been sturdy and pretty enough for my Corgi's to wear.
