**Q: I have a transformer that's has an output of 24 volts and a rating of 40 VA. Will your chime work with my transformer?**
A: I believe it only works with 16v transformers

**Q: Is this compatible with the Nest Hello Doorbell?**
A: I can't be for certain as I don't have a Nest Doorbell, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. This is a basic normal mechanical doorbell chime. This will retrofit with any existing doorbell system. All the Best needs is the power that is supplied from the transformer in the doorbell system. Mind you this is just the doorbell chime, a transformer is not included.

**Q: Does this chime have volume control?**
A: This unit is a Mechanical chime.  It has strikers that hit tone bars making sound.  No volume control

**Q: Is this unit compatible with the August doorbell pro?**
A: This unit should work fine with the August doorbell pro

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent but not as functional with smart doorbells

Looks fine, was easy to install but it still doesn’t work well with our smart doorbell. Sometimes it will struggle to ring and sounds like it is slowly dying. It is most likely an issue with the smart doorbell but since description says compatible with smart doorbells, I was slightly disappointed when we still had the same issue
