Have been having a play about with it and basically annoying the cats. The remote connects really easily, just hold down the button while your phone Bluetooth is searching for a new device. The phone grip is very sturdy and holds the phone both landscape and portrait which is good as ones I've had in the past could only hold the phone landscape and the tripod legs fold out from the handgrip, again sturdy and hold the phone with no issues.
