## Description

Purpose: Insulated flexible cord cables - The British standard PVC cable is a low voltage flexible power supply wire and they are used in many household appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines and spin dryers. They are also used in portable tools and small indoor electrical instruments but they are generally unsuitable for outdoor use. The cable features a PVC insulation with a PVC outer sheath. Available in 2, 3, 4 or 5 core in black or white. The flexible cables, coded 318*Y are 300/500 volts.

**Q: Is this okay for electric induction cookers**
A: This is suitable for connection between 32 amp fused cooker point and appliance rated at 32 amp or less not for connection to distribution boards or sockets, do not enclose cable

**Q: can i use to connect to a 16amp rated cooker**
A: Yes but it won't fit in a 13 amp plug. You need 1.5mm heat resistant flex.

**Q: Can this cable be used to connect a 32A oven to a cooker point?**
A: Yes. This is exactly what I bought it for. Prompt delivery from the supplier, too.

**Q: Can I use it to connect a 36w fluorescent ceiling lamp?**
A: Yes you can, but it's unnecessary to use 4mm core. I would recommend 3 core 1mm (or even less) for a 36w lamp. It's probably useful to know that on a normal UK power supply a 36w lamp draws less than 0.2 amps.
