After hikes of about 10kms over rough up-and-down terrain, my lower legs tend to ache and my somewhat bonny feet get very sore. I wanted something thin enough to wear under my regular merino wool socks without cramping my feet - these socks were a perfect fit with my boots and socks. After two hikes (one 22kms and the other 14kms in the Brecon Beacons) I am truly impressed by what I experienced. 1. my feet are much warmer, this aids flexibility. 2. my feet are incredibly comfortable and can move in my boot relative to the other sock which lessens friction on the bony parts of my feet. 3. the comfort and support for my calfs' did really lesson fatigue throughout both hikes which meant my legs in general were less tired when I finished, and my feet were much less sore. I normall hike with my Son and couldn't shut up about how good they are, and I will now buy him some. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Support where you need it *by S***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 May 2019* Purchased the socks as I am diabetic, and when on long haul flights it was recommended i use flight socks, I have tried a few but never been impressed before, however this time I am impressed.They are a snug fit but that is what you need to give you enough support and for them to do the trick properly, they are well made and the little bit of colour just makes them that little bit nicer and not look like some surgical or torturous bit of kit, they look like they are trendy sports socks which in essence they are.Ideal for those long haul flights or that work out in the gym or that long run or jog or even if your jobs entails you being on your feet all day they are ideal.Not the cheapest on the market but not the dearest either but if you value your health they are a good buy and should last the test of time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Non slip, does not roll down, my pain is under control!! *by �***� on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 August 2021* This has been my first time using compression socks.I was advised by my doctor to use them because due to my multiple chronic pain conditions I live quite a sedentary lifestyle. It came to a point where one of the nerves on my left calf was swollen and causing my a lot of pain that would wake me up during the night. This pain also triggered the bulged disc that I have in my lower spine.As soon as it arrived I put them on, I didn't notice anything straight away but after a couple of hours the pain began to ease a little, just enough so that I was able to sit down for a little bit longer than before. After taking them off before bed I went to sleep and was not woken up with my leg pain!!! This was when I knew it was working. As I woke up the next morning the flare up on the bulged disc was very much reduced. And upon the second day of wearing it the pain was so much more manageable in my legs.The only thing I wish could be different, is that for people like me, we need to use these compression socks daily. So I wish more than one pair could have been supplied for when the other pair is in the wash.The socks themselves they fit nicely, I have quite thick calves and was able to pull the socks up just under my knee, which is where they are supposed to sit. At first I had pulled them a little bit too high up on the back and it was digging in behind the knee area, but after lowering it slightly and readjusting it was much more comfortable.I can attest that these socks are not slippery, there is a good amount of grip at the bottom. One important thing is that they do not fall or roll down!! They simply stay in place.
