While I was waiting for this cover to arrive, I just used an old MacBook Pro keyboard cover (which doesn't quite fit a magic keyboard 2, up top, @the function keys).The blue color I chose looks dope! The Magic Mouse 2 cover's blue is a lighter and doesn't match exactly, but still provides an added layer of protection from scratches. TBH, I believe I could certainly live without the mouse cover because there aren't any crevices for dust/dirt or moisture to get on the area). Plus, the next day, I sprung for the Magic Trackpad 2 and don't even use the mouse anymore cuz like duhhhh....why use a mouse if you're on a Mac? LOL (maybe cuz its better than nothing and it CAME with the iMac!!) I was concerned when it came that it said on the package that it was laptop specific and I have a IMac with magic keyboard but it fit perfect. The Mose cover goes on easy and is easily adjustable but does not fall off during use...and yes all the functions are still available which was a concern.
