Ladies, Be Careful
If you want syrupy sweet happy hollywood endings, then fifty shades freed is the book for you. And that is precisely what worries me. I hope this unrealistic fairy tale doesn't mislead women into thinking they can magically fix a guy with sadism behavior. The truth is: it's very dangerous to get involved with a man like that. I doubt most abusive men are in the top 1% category with everything in life like Christian Grey is. Mr. Grey is a self made billionaire by age 26. He looks like a Greek God. He plays the piano, sings, owns planes he flys himself, boats he sails himself. He has a maid, chaufeur, body guards, personal assistants, owns lots of real estate and several luxury cars. Are all abusive men actually high society like that? And can they typically be miraculously healed by an innocent girls love alone? Ladies, be careful. Don't go questing for a Christian Grey in real life. He is a very exaggerated fictious character.

Just as I thought: trash.
This series is so stupid.Drama drama drama. Over inane things. Over nothing. Drama and fighting and arguments that make no sense just so something exciting will happen in the story.Christian Grey is a walking red flag, and fans only tolerate his abusive 'uwu poor tortured soul' personality because he's rich and hot.Ana says it herself multiple times- how is she supposed to keep up with his mood swings? And once again, every single problem they have is solved by sex and never mentioned again."I want to connect the way we know how.""After all our arguing today, all the frustration- we still have this. We will always have this."She's talking about sex. Sex is literally the only way they can actually communicate with one another.Ana's catchphrase is 'please don't be angry with me." I swear she says it every chapter. One of the most annoying things while reading this, besides god awful plot, is that the author seems to learn a new word shortly before sitting down to write and then uses it over and over and over...Chaste. Sardonic. Replete. It feels like the only resources she uses to write is a thesaurus and celebrity magazines.I only read this so I could properly debate with fans over why it's trash, and I'm glad it's done. I can't believe this garbage is 1600 pages long.

Great ending to a great series!
The third and final book in the Fifty Shades trilogy. Ana and Christian are married and ready to begin their new life together. Of course, Christian is business as usual, but Ana had to figure out how to not get herself lost in being Mrs. Christian Grey. I felt a big shift in Ana with this book. While Christian still dominates most of their life in and out of the bedroom Ana has really become her own person.I am glad we got to see a little more depth with Christian’s character. He was tested in many ways and although his response was not always the best it made me love him even more. I am just glad we finally dealt with that “Mrs. Robinson” problem because she was getting on my nerves! I do not understand how he did not see the problem with her. Between her and Hyde there is enough drama for a lifetime!I could not put this book down. What was a great ending to a great trilogy. I cannot even tell you how many times I have read these books. No matter what anyone says I would start reading these books because you will enjoy it. One of my favorite series I have read!

Surely an enjoyment
I have become enticed by these characters and their story. The kinky stuff was interesting to read but I really enjoyed the characters. Their conflict, different personalities, sharing and becoming one in marriage. There is more to the story then the sex and that I enjoyed greatly. I love how Anna loves and helps Christian to become a better himself. Then again the way Christian pushes Anna to be bolder and more attentive is really inspiring. Their love story, yes kinky and out of the normal, is what I wish to accomplish. The partnership, trust, and growth I want in my relationship. I will see about getting my love to read this and maybe I will.

Best out of the 3
I liked this one the best out of the 3. It had much more of a story and things going on. The story didn't let the sex carry the book.I wasn't sure I would read the 2nd book after reading the first, but after watching the movies I wanted to see how they were different then the movies. I was a bit shocked at how some of the scenes in the movie were done compared to the books. And some were done better one that comes to mind is how things ended with Jack I liked the movie better with how it was presented, but the book as it gave more perspective with those involved. The movies really dropped the ball with how they handled "Mrs. Robinson" she was much more involved then how the move let on. And they never even showed the relationship between the bodyguard and the housekeeper it really could have added more depth to the movies. It would be nice to have a spin off with Kate and Elliott that could show what is going on with Ana and Christian.

still love Christian..
So this is a tough review for me. I read this series years ago multiple times (this is #6). I'm doing a re-read because I got Freed in Christian's POV that just came out 6/1/2021. I almost wish I hadn't. I've read such good books since the last time I've read these, that now I can see all the issues and errors. So I want to give 5 stars because that's how I felt for years, but it's really maybe a 2 or 3.The writing is not very good. Ana is obnoxious in this one. I almost feel like the author tried to cram so much sex that it took away from the story. For example, they get into a car chase, but she's so freaked out and scared and can't believe that happened that Ana just has to crawl onto Christian's lap and have sex right now, because I can't wait and I need you Christian. Then is all worried if someone could see?!?!? Or Leila comes and visits and Christian is mad and she scolds him like she hasn't met her husband in the last 2 1/2 books???I'm still going to read all three of Christian's books in his POV because well I still love Christian. And for that reason, I'm going to go ahead and rate this a 4 because it's in between what I once thought these books were to what I see them as now.

Brilliant story. Beautiful ending
really enjoyed this story it's quite emotional. This last book showed all the reasons why Christian is the way he is and he has been through a lot. You know sometimes people talk about other people's behaviour but they don't really know why they behave the way they do and the reason is never just cut and dry. I just love the way Christian and Anastasia are together. Regardless of the negative comments about the book, I love it and I think the story is brilliant. There are a lot of people who go through similar experiences in real life which has caused them to fine it difficult to connect with others intimately or otherwise. I understand the fact that life is not only what I or other readers know about. I do not agree with the negative comments about Christian and Anastasia calling each other Mr and Mrs, Ana is stupid, Christian is a stalker, too much sex. Really!? Can there be too much sex between two people if that's what they both want and what does it matter what they choose to call each other? Anyway, they are entitled to their opinion. I know it's a book of course but it causes you to think that when you see people going to certain things we are not to be too quick to judge because we don't know what they I've been through or is going through. As I said before in my first book review, sometimes all a person need is for somebody to love them unconditionally to help them to overcome their pain and self-doubt. I Love the Way the ends. With the help of the love of his life, his psychologist and the love of his family, he was able to change himself and be happy Something he thought he'd never have. The love that he has for Anastasia and she him is beautiful and unconditional and that's what he needed encourage the change.I think it's a beautiful story with all it faults, I love it and it has given me lots to think about.

Sprint ending
I have read all of the Shades of Grey & the first two from Christian's view, (waiting for the last to be released), twice over. I have LOVED them all. The only disappointment is this final Fifty Shades Freed. It all starts heading a bit downhill from half way through the book. It seems as if EL James had had enough of writing about these two, skipping weeks, months etc and not expanding fully on events that had previously happened and needed concluding, just brief details, then on to the next bit. To be honest, I think there could have been a fourth book to finish the saga properly, especially as these books are so hard to put down. I look forward to reading the last in the Christian trilogy, but I expect that this will have the same disappointing ending too. Because I feel the end is rushed, I have taken a star off. To have been drawn in to this world of Anastasia and Christian and a story than you feel you are so much a part of. Are sad when they're sad, feel the difficulties that they have to work with or around, are high when they are high and feel all their exhilaration; it's almost a kick in the guts to be left as an outsider, wanting that bit more to finish the story at their side. I'd still recommend this be read if you've read the others as you'll be just left hanging but don't expect it to be as inclusive of the reader later in the book. A real shame to end a story so brilliantly written in such detail, over the previous two books to be let down at the end.

The greater the love, the fiercer the fight
The previous book ends and this begins by skating over the material that would make a fourth volume. The author changes her style to fill in the gaps with back story and the result is hideous. Ana comes across as a stupid and rather pathetic woman. But when we have caught up with the plot again E.L. James is back to her beguiling best , never allowing her characters enough time for reconciliation before the next crisis threatens to overwhelm them. Ana's personal development is remarkable; she started the series barely able to say boo to a goose but ends it being capable of outwitting people with cunning to match the best. Perhaps we have the key to why this story is so compelling, it is not just about Christian Grey but equally about Anastasia Steele. Not sure how you end a story like this and I question whether the author has nailed it. Personal experience would suggest that the relationship would fall apart in the end and the harder you strive for a positive outcome the deeper the tears etch into your heart when you fail.

Just okay
I will admit that I had read these books, but altogether, the books are just okay. The characters are very frustrating, especially Anastacia Steele....what is with her?! More annoying than anything as her life appears to focus around Christian Grey the more the story progresses. I understand what the story is about and the meaning of it, but I just found her character to be more annoying than a strong character in her own right.

Final instalment for 50 shades
This is the last book in the trilogy. Christian and Anna just get back from their honeymoon and are about to begin their new life together as a couple. However, something from Christian's past has come back to haunt him. Both Christian and Anna have to go to this final battle before they can live happily ever after. It's a very good final instalment for this fantastic trilogy. There is a good mix of action, mystery and most of hot sex in the book. I cannot put it down as I can't wait to find out why Christian was targeted. And the fact that the author wait till the very end to reveal it means I was hooked all the way through. Apart from the crime thriller element, the change in Christian is even more apparent than previous books and he can finally make peace with his past. The author also tied up the loose ends of other minor storylines such as Kate and Elliot, the attitude of Christian's father towards Anna etc. The epilogue is also well written, giving us the point of view of Christian when he first met Anna and I could not keep myself from laughing. This book has definitely set a new trend or era for erotica. A well known televisin series even base one of the episodes in the current season based on an author of erotic-you can see its effects. And a movie based on the novel is currently being put together and I am sure I will definitely check it out.
