BELLMX-9 Adventure Shield Accessories

Firstly, I should say, I normally use the protint transition face shield as it’s just fantastic. But I also wanted something a bit more reflective for a different look. The light silver iridescent shield is a good compromise on tint and also that “privacy” I like when riding. I generally don’t like people knowing what I’m looking at when stopped at a light, etc. This face shield is tinted, but not so much that it disrupts your vision when riding on those cloudy/rainy days. Have yet to use it at night, but it’s not tinted enough that I think it’ll be a problem. It’s good quality and is a Bell made face shield, so it fits perfectly. I would definitely recommend this face shield if you are thinking about buying one. I very well may even get another one in dark gold iridescent when I have a bit of spare coin.

This is great , i can finally see now without the sun blinding me.Really makes the style look better . it's not too dark that you can be able to see at night with it if you have enough light , that's if you need to use it when you're caught at night with it on.Definitely worth the buy instead of using the clear with sunglasses.

This shield is a must for day riding, a total game changer. It's easy to see out of, and works just as well as my sunglasses while riding. From the outside it looks almost totally black and gives a great stealth look to my all black helmet. Definitely worth the purchase price, easy 5 stars.

Makes huge difference during daytime riding. At night may be too dark to see so stick with clear visor for night ride. It is original Bell accessory.

Ordered Dark Silver Iridium, looks awesome and feels awesome during the day. But be warned, when they say it's not for night riding they mean it. You literally cannot see anything unless there is a light shining directly on it. Imagine looking through welding goggles. Don't expect to wear it at night!

The shield is just fine and quality construction. The light smoke is just is not as dark as I was hoping. I didn’t want or expect it to be really dark but it is almost barely noticeable tint. This would be great if you do a lot of night riding.

When the visors are well used they will start to fall down on their own. It's frustrating. Buying a new visor obviously improves clarity and eliminates any flares due to scratching but it also helps the visor catch in the cog mechanism. Only for a short time. Be sure to buy the cogs in addition to the visor - or just the cogs if your visor is still clear - to keep the visor from slamming down at speed. I have been wearing Bells MX-9 helmets since 2016ish. On my second one now. Great value priced helmet without compromise.
