I bought it as a back up airbrush and quickly realized there is no good way to clean paint residue out of it as the mouth of the cup is too narrow and steep to get even a q tip in. Now it can only push air pressure, paint is just bubbling in the cup. I've had other airbrushes do this and normally it's just a clog or a chunk of paint blocking the flow. This would be a non issue if you could actually get in the damn thing. I wanted to try one after seeing the glowing reviews and thought the cost would not be so high for trying. I am very far from elitist and I understand there may be an audience for affordable equipment or just use this as a training tool. That's the type of honest and legitimate thinking manufacturers prey upon.The airbrush is light, actually too light as in cheap, control is rough, cleaning is hard. I initially thought it would be good for base coating. As most airbrush users know, it is always a full project to take out your airbrush, prep and clean up after using it. This airbrush is no exception. However, the inconsistent flow started to make even more a hassle than necessary and I got tired of the constant fight to work with it.Then I took out my Iwata that was heavier, easier to handle, provided much better control and gave smooth as silk results. Wasn't I surprised when I realized that even the cleaning was easier.We are always on the quest for cheaper and in the end, cheap... never isMaybe it is time we start to see the world in a more sustainable way and push back the crap that unnecessarily pollutes what's left of it.Invest slightly more in an airbrush from reputable manufacturers. I can assure you there is a big difference in the components, design and actual painting. It is not as simple as pushing paint with air, there is actual engineering and material to do that, not look alike copies.Air compressors, I found out, are less a problem as long as it doesn't fall apart after a couple of uses.
