Most of these other TVs are on the end of 50' HDMI cables so that is a challenging setup, but it works reliably and without delays or artifacts of any kind. I have used a couple of different HDMI input selectors and splitters prior to this and they had issues just often enough to make them really annoying. This matrix switch has been absolutely consistent and reliable after several months of use.The bad: It doesn't work with one very cheap AOC 27" TV that I have. However, if I had to chose between the AOC TV and this matrix switch I would keep the matrix switch and replace the AOC TV with something compatible. Works Ok. I wish the lights were not so bright and that it had a turn off switch. I only cost $39 plus change on the Monoprice site.. They are out of stock. May add comments later after further use. It only worked for two days ; therefore I now give it one star. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Poor IR remote and unusable serial control makes this a frustrating product. *by C***D on Reviewed in the United States on January 8, 2015* This an affordable HDMI matrix. It has a feature that able you to remotely control and power it via serial port. That feature does not work as expected. I paired this with the StarTech.com PEX2S952PW. I was not able to power it via the serial port. I verified that the voltage is being delivered in the correct pins by using a multimeter. Also, remote control via serial (Windows) is very buggy. The included software cannot be installed in Windows 7. The matrix does not respond well with third-party serial software, either.I'm currently using it with the included IR remote, which is hardly responsive at best. Once the matrix detects a loss of signal in one of its inputs (the input source turns off for example) it automatically switches to an input that has a signal. There is no way to disable this feature.
