Review: New Favorite Jugs - Overall awesome product so far. Took them on a camping trip for 4 days and they were great for washing out hands, cooking with, and drinking from. Pros: -easy to clean, I can fit my arm in there (I do have little arms though) -easy to use the lid without fear of breaking it, unlike the blue aqua-whatever they are called water jugs -fits well in the bed of truck with other camping gear, they are slim, compared to those big bulky blue ones again -the plastic feels very durable Con: -Doesn’t necessarily have a good pour spout for washing your hands, but whatever, it’s a great jug!

**Q: What are the external dimensions**
A: 13-1/2” x 6-1/2” x 19”

**Q: Any recommendation for a funnel for transferring to the fresh water fill tank?**
A: I use water from a local water fresh water shop. I take either these containers in and they fill them up for me or I use other clean containers and buy the water and simply pour it in the Scepter containers later. I do use a special hose made for filling up camper/RV water tanks. It is a water hose but uses BPA/non-toxic materials that will not contaminate or add distasteful flavor to the water.

**Q: Should I wash these after receiving them, or is it okay to just start filling them with water? I intend to use it as drinking water**
A: I use mine for drinking water, too, and that's what they are intended for. Because manufacturing processes can have chemical residue, and because I didn't know what sort of cleaning was performed by the manufacturer, I chose to be safe rather than sorry, and did wash mine with a mild Clorox solution and then with dish soap and hot water. However, they arrived looking very clean and didn't have an odor, so they may be OK with no cleaning.  Final answer: better safe than sorry.

**Q: Where are these made? China?**
A: If they are true Scepter, they are made in Canada and of very good (mil spec) quality.

We use these containers for camping, everyday drinking water use, and during weather events in our area. The containers are durable and well put together. The shell is not flimsy at all and the cap is also heavy duty. The cap and handle make it easy to take and fill them up. The slim and tall design make it nice for space as well. The cap is easy to open and close, does not leak, and is easy to use a water filter on. Would buy again.
