Or is the top screen pictured a personal tablet holder?** A: Just comes with one small screen and the iPad holder. The holder is designed to take a small tablet or mini-iPad that is NOT in a case. **Q: Can the stride distance be changed. Some can be ajusted from a long stride to more of a step type machine. Will this one do that?** A: The stride on the Nordic Track Commercial 12.9 changes based on the incline/decline that you have selected. It is changed automatically and you do not control the actual stride length. You only control the amount of incline you would like and then the stride is automated to that incline. The type of stride does change slightly depending on how much or little incline you have chosen. **Q: Where is the Bluetooth button located? I can’t find it to sync with my iFit app** A: Just realize you can't connect your iFit app on another tablet or phone, since it is already built in to the built in 7" screen. I had a 10" tablet that I wanted to use. Nordictrack support said it was not compatible, since it's built in. I can connect to bluetooth on another device and play music through the Nordictrack speakers, it just won't work through the app. **Q: Question for the seller: is this the ntel71218 or will i receive the ntel71220? i noticed that a different model was pictured in the reviews.** A: I received the 71218 and it was a mess. completely damaged. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This NordicTrack is incredible! *by T***E on May 22, 2020* The NordicTrack elliptical machine is the best I’ve ever worked out on. I LOVE IT! Having it shipped to the house was simple. The delivery was scheduled and they called before they arrived. Putting it together was easy and I did everything myself. I even padded the threshold of the door from the garage with cardboard from the shipping box to slide the machine base into the house. I laid a thick blanket on the two steps to slide it up into the kitchen without anyone’s help. The wheels make it simple to move around. Make sure you put the wheels and pull handle on while it’s still sitting in the styrofoam padding in the box before doing what I did to move it into the house. They have it positioned perfectly for easy installation of the wheels and pull handle because it’s so heavy. Customer service is five star even though you have to message chat with them. Several items were damaged and it was easy to have them replaced without any issue. I have zero issues with anything. I’ve seen other reviews about it making noise and I think they didn’t grease it up correctly. It makes no noise at all. You need to adjust the screws on the floor padded legs underneath to make sure the machine is completely level. I used a bubble level to check it. They supply the white grease and I have extra for later when I do maintenance. Use a cotton swab to apply the white grease so you don’t waste it. I will order the white grease from customer service when I need it again. The warranty is more than enough because years from now I will most definitely be purchasing the latest and greatest NordicTrack again. The tablet holder was one of many other reasons I wanted the Commercial 12.9 model. The Bluetooth connects with ease and it calibrates the incline with ease in settings. The iFit connects to WiFi every time it turns on. I purchased a cord switch adapter to disconnect it from the power source because the instructions say to unplug it to prolong the life of the machine every time you turn it off. The HDMI connection to the 65 inch TV in the living room makes using the iFit app more fun. I completely recommend this product 100%! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Purchase *by A***R on April 25, 2020* The Nordic track was delivered sooner than the originally scheduled date, which I was very happy about. After reading the reviews, I decided to not to have it assembled before delivery. It seemed like the only problematic reviews posted, were those who had it assembled and then delivered.It arrived in a large, heavy box on a pallet, which seemed overwhelming, but once I opened the box up and took out the pieces, I know assembly would be fairly easy. In all, I think it took me about an hour with the help of another person.I have used it almost every day since it arrived and overall, I am pretty happy with my purchase. The only problem I have encountered was the shaking / feeling of tipping while I use it. Like it’s off balance, or not heavy enough to handle the impact of use. I’ve moved it a few times because it is on an old concrete garage floor, and it seems like the garage floor wasn’t level and causing the shake issue. That fixed it a little, However- it still persists just not as intense. I am 5’8” and 160 pounds, so it should be able to handle my force during use.I ordered a mat to put the elliptical on, which hopefully will absorb and level out the impact of the machine. To be continued ### ⭐ Do Not Purchase This Machine! *by A***R on December 31, 2019* I purchased this elliptical and paid for assembly through Amazon. I was very happy with the shipping of the original item and assembly. However, after 3 weeks of using this machine it began to clang and bang very loudly as I would use it. I contacted Nordictrack for them to come take a look at my machine and fix the noise. They informed me that do not send technicians out without a diagnosis first. They informed me that I would need to take the machine apart and try to diagnose the problem myself and let them know what parts should be ordered so they could send a technician out once the part arrived. I was furious...what kind of warranty is that. I contacted Amazon and they were nice enough to allow me to return the machine and gave me the option to replace it with another one or get a full refund. Other than the loud banging, I loved this machine. I worked out on it everyday and had already noticed a change in my body. I was super happy with the results I was seeing, so I decided to go ahead and have them replace the machine with a new one. Fast forward a few weeks and the new machine arrived and was assembled. The first day this machine began to make very loud noises as I worked out. I have given it a week or two and it just keeps getting louder. Needless to say the second machine is about to be returned for a full refund.
