Generally stepper motors rotate 1.8deg/steps. So now length linear steps depends on mechanism you are using, for ex if you are using lead screw then pitch of your lead screw will determine how distance it will per step. You will have to do all these calculation yourself. **Q: Is this a remote control module?** A: No. It is just a motor drive shield **Q: can i connect this with nodemcu** A: It is made specifically for arduino uno and mega, But if you want you can connect to node MCU, But you will hardly find any support for it online.
