Ideal for temperatures between 20-95°F, these unique pets are packaged with care to ensure their safe arrival, making them a fun and engaging addition to any home. ## Description The elusive Yeti Rolies are a fun species of isopod to have in your farm or vivarium. They like to hide in the forest of chia but occasionally you will get a rare glimpse of the legendary white abominable snowman. Carry the Yeti in your pocket habitat, take them to school, take them to work, they will be as snug as a bug... in your pocket. This species do not curl into a ball when scared, they play dead. Females will typically give birth to 1-2 clutches of 20-30 babies in late summer through the fall. Yetis can grow to about 1/2 inch long and live 3-5 years. They become sexually mature and start producing babies around 6-8 months old. Yours will be approximately 6-8 months old when shipped. Yetis prefer 60-70% humidity and temperatures between 50-75degrees F but can tolerate temperatures as low as 40 degrees. They will eat just about anything organic including most vegetables and fish food. Do not overfeed or the uneaten food will attract fruit flys. Just like all rolies, Yetis get along well with other species of rolies. While pictures typically represent the adult version of our pets, most items for sale are shipped as immature stages of the available species. Photos of outstanding adult specimens are typically used, not representing the actual specimen available for sale. Recommended for ages 8+. If your local temperatures are above 80 degrees, please monitor the tracking number daily so the Rolies don’t sit outside in the heat more than 3 hours and perish. Review: Love Them! - They arrived on time, alive and packaged so nicely, thank y’all so much i love the care guide and appreciate the carrying container <3 my sons think they are adorable!! Review: Excellent - Excellent packaging, arrived safe and alive! ## Features - Watch them grow - Yetis will arrive approximately 1/8”-1/4” in length and will double in size in about 4 weeks. When they do, they start producing babies. - A minimum of 10 Yeti Roly Polys. Also called Potato Bugs, Isopods, or Pill Bugs depending on what part of the country you grew up playing with them. - Delivering live, healthy rolies is our highest priority. If your temperatures for the next five day forecast are below 20 or over 95 degrees, Do Not Order. We cannot wait to exceed your expectations, but is devastating when Roly Polies perish in extreme temperatures. - These will come packaged like an over obsessed mom packaged her sons ideas, passion, and hard work to arrive safe and sound.
