I know they worked, because I took one off to use temporarily as a hair tie (it's freaky windy on the top deck of a cruise ship!) and before long I started getting queasy and had to put the band back on! They worked so well for us that we didn't even need the ear patches. I'd try anything to help her be less carsick.We got these just before a 12 hour drive. My daughter threw up twice, but only at extremely windy parts, and after she had taken these off. Twice might sound like a lot, but that was a major win compared to before. Now we put them on her before we go anywhere, and she doesn't throw up anymore on drives. I take a med designed for cancer patients, but it's not enough. I hoped these would help. They're kinda tight on my regular ish sized wrists. I got used to them after a while and they maybe even are helping my 24/7 nausea due to my Gastroparesis a little, with their accupressure points. But is it safe to wear something that leaves grooves? 😂I like the material they are made out of.And that they come in several colors.I haven't tried the patches yet.Perhaps they made the elastic on this pair of Kongdy Sea Sickness bands too short.
