I already own two other sets of sculptural hooks (the long pastel scrolled set you've probably seen here on Amazon). Those are pretty, but oddly weighted and difficult to use. These hooks are closer to the length of standard crochet hooks, and the center of balance is in a more normal spot. The hooks have Boye-style heads, short throats, and a decent working area. There's a large thumb rest on the hard plastic handle. The set includes a 3mm hook, which can be hard to find in the US. It's difficult to tell from the photos, but the handles are a deep red-brown color with a shiny finish. The shapes are a goose, a swan, something that appears to be a fox or cat, a butterfly, a rooster, a dragon, a flower, and something that's either highly stylized floral or maybe coral.
