Ideal for walls, floors, and ceilings, it offers versatile, eco-friendly soundproofing that fits irregular spaces and withstands moisture and chemicals. Perfect for studios, apartments, and commercial spaces seeking professional-grade noise control. ## Description Audimute 3 mm Peacemaker Sound Barrier is an excellent choice for soundproofing. Use between walls, ceilings, and floors to effectively reduce sound transmission and achieve the sound quality you desire. Peacemaker offers excellent sound control. Very effective at blocking airborne sound between walls, floors, and ceilings. Perfect for homes, offices, studios, restaurants, and any other space to help block sound from entering or exiting. Peacemaker can be used outdoors. The same principles of soundproofing apply: increase mass and significantly reduce/eliminate air flow. In addition to mass and air flow, it is ideal to create a constrained-layer in which Audimute Peacemaker is sandwiched between two layers of harder, more dense materials. The sound energy dissipates in the middle layer because of its elasticity and the change in density. Versatile - Great in walls, floors, and ceilings; conforms easily to irregularly shaped spaces such as alcoves, nooks, sort walls, and areas with immovable surface features. Peacemaker is effective in both single or double layer applications to match the performance requirements of the end user. Peacemaker is designed to be installed between two rigid layers, such as drywall. In flooring applications, Peacemaker should be installed between two subfloors to ensure the best performance. Composition: Processed Rubber Granules. Polymer Binding Agent. Chemical Behavior: Water resistant. Resistant to numerous diluted acids & alkaline solutions. Chemically neutral. Please Note: Most new rubber products will emit various organic compounds which have a characteristic smell like that of a newly painted room. When properly installed in your wall, floor, or ceiling, these odors will be undetected. If left exposed, in an area with little ventilation, Peacemaker will emit a harmless low-level odor which will lessen over time and poses no health risks. Individuals with increased sensitivity to smell may find this odor unpleasant. Good customer service. - It is a pain to cut evenly without special tools but not impossible, however even installed directly to the walls with sound tiles over it(as in the photo) it works pretty well at reducing noise outside and inside. Fedex lost one package in my order for about two weeks. I contacted the company and the replacement arrived promptly. πŸ‘ Review: Kinda works. - I was a little disappointed 😞 πŸ˜”. I can still hear the noise from outside. I can hear car mufflers, radios, delivery trucks. For the cost I thought this would work. This would probably work if we already had normal insulation in our walls. ## Features - Excellent Sound Barrier: Great for soundproofing walls, ceilings, and floors. - Each roll of Peacemaker measures 2' wide by 18' long, covering 36 sq. ft. - Peacemaker is environmentally friendly, composed of recycled tire rubber - Perfect solution for recording studios, apartments, commercial spaces, and more! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #33,403 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #676 in Recording Studio Acoustical Treatments | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 86 Reviews | ## Images ![Audimute Peacemaker Sound Barrier - 3 mm Soundproofing Sound Barrier (2' x 18') - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51Eoq3VGhuL.jpg) ![Audimute Peacemaker Sound Barrier - 3 mm Soundproofing Sound Barrier (2' x 18') - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41ISavcLwNL.jpg) ![Audimute Peacemaker Sound Barrier - 3 mm Soundproofing Sound Barrier (2' x 18') - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41b+q3qXRpL.jpg) ![Audimute Peacemaker Sound Barrier - 3 mm Soundproofing Sound Barrier (2' x 18') - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41xBmjils2L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What do you use to hang it with.** A: Peacemaker is designed to be installed between layers of drywall or another rigid structure, or directly over studs, behind a layer of drywall. To attach Peacemaker, you would want to use either staples or finishing nails. **Q: Can I use this to deaden the sound of my stainless steel kitchen sink?** A: Stainless steel sinks ALL vibrate and are horrid with a garbage disposal. I would use one of the automotive tar-like sheet products, two layers thick, or many coats of truck bed spray coating. This rubber stuff here is effective but it needs protection; it’s not the stuff for under sinks. **Q: Does this product have a strong smell if put ontop of drywall** A: I have not noticed any odor. **Q: can this be used as a less expensive option compared to MLV for a soundproofing an air compressor?** A: I pulled a hollow interior door apart, put a layer of this soundproofing material inside the door, and then put the door back together again to reduce noise coming from one room into the rest of the house. It did reduce the noise, but it did not eliminate it. I do not know about soundproofing an air compressor. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well at reducing noise levels. But, so far, so good. I had this installed, and the two guys who did it said it was heavy and hard to install, but they put it up like you would hang wallpaper, and stapled it up. Then they put up a layer of 5/8 drywall. So far, I haven’t heard anything from my neighbors on the other side of the common wall we share. ## Frequently Bought Together - Audimute Peacemaker Sound Barrier - 3 mm Soundproofing Sound Barrier (2' x 25') - Premium Quality MLV Seam Tape, Installation Tape for Mass-Loaded Vinyl Noise Barriers 6 Mil - Highly Effective Soundproofing Solution - 1.5" x 108 (1) - UberQuiet MLV Cap Nails, 1-inch, for Installation of Mass-Loaded Vinyl Noise Barriers, Small (250 pcs) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/86515084-audimute-peacemaker-sound-barrier-3-mm-soundproofing-sound-barrier-2](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/86515084-audimute-peacemaker-sound-barrier-3-mm-soundproofing-sound-barrier-2) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
