Not only do you get a remastering of one of the greatest games of all time (RE), but you also get a remastering of Resident Evil Zero! RE0 is one of the most underrated games of all time. Not sure if it's exactly underrated, or if most people didn't get around to playing it due to it appearing towards the end of the Gamecube's life cycle? Like many people, I purchased the original Resident Evil REmaster digitally when it was released last year, but as soon as this collection was announced, I knew that I had to have it as well. I'm not a fan of digital only games, so this was a welcome addition to my collection. I'm glad they released it day one and not a few months later cause I would've had to purchase Zero digitally first then this collections later. The first one has already been re-released digitally and doesn't have any co-op to speak of. Zero doesn't have any co-op either from what I've seen. **Q: anyone knows if they are keeping tank controls on re1?** A: These are just HD ports of REmake and 0 to PS4, so yes - they will be tank controlsHowever, they might update control options (like they did with RE4 HD) to include 3D controls. However, that's purely my speculation as of this moment. **Q: So is this a remake of the original resident evil? like the first one ever made?** A: There are: 1. The 1996 Resident Evil on the PS1. 2. The 2002 GameCube with improved graphics. Either way the contents are based on the first story in the mansion. The question is whether the present game was adapted from the source code of #1 or #2? Regardless, the textures, framerate etc must be enhanced for the PS4. So is the question about what percentage of source code came from which release that important? **Q: I own the digital resident evil hd? will my saved points be transferable to this version?** A: I have confirmed what mobud36 suggested. I owned the digital copy of REmake on PS4. I simply went in and deleted the application (but NOT the application data) and put in the ORIGINS disk.
