    Stunning and beautiful

The content matter is so adult, but presented in such a child-friendly way. It's not as timeless as some of his other works, but the illustrations are on-point, as always. I think it introduces children to several important concepts at an early age, and Sendak had a talent for projects that really treated children like people instead of coddling them with nonsense. I appreciate this book more as an adult for the impact it had on me as a child.

The book was rated "Very Good" by the seller WRONG....this book is "Brand New" original paper cover without a flaw PERFECT 😍🤩 As a librarian who is always looking for rare and out of print books. This will definitely be my first go to place from now on.

My son says this is too scary for our granddaughter, who is two and a half years old.  I've loved this book since it came out, many years ago. It's the most damning attack on Trump I've ever seen. It's also clever and hilarious. Sendak will be greatly missed.
