Every time we put him in it he had the biggest smile on his face. With that said there are two issues with this carrier. The first is the rack it is small and does not fit on most bikes. Luckily we have street, mountain and race bikes because it would not fit with the bike we had planned or our first backup.The second and main issue is with safety.If you look at the picture you will see the large black round grip on the base (below the handle bars) that one screw is the ONLY thing holding the seat and your child on the rack! Ours failed and our son slid right off the rack flipped over twice on the pavement before finally stopping. Luckily he was wearing a helmet and had no major injuries. I did contact the manufacturer and they were very kind and seemed genuinely concerned about the issue and my ideas on how to solve it. But until they come up with a second or even a third way to ensure this carrier does not fall off. PLEASE do not buy this, for the safety of your child. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Nice bike seat needs snap-in shoulder straps. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 16, 2016* Three-point belt system a good idea, however, the shoulder straps are difficult to adjust. I replaced the two shoulder straps with snap-in clips. ### ⭐ DO not buy *by B***F on Reviewed in the United States on June 14, 2013* To start I want to say I am an avid cyclist and a mechanical engineer.Second I want to say that when I received this in the mail the box was crushed and I do mean crushed. Split down the side crushed. I sent pictures to the seller and they offered a full refund without me even asking for one, all I did was send pictures. But the seat was not damaged.OkThe rack the seat sits on barely fit on my bike (Trek Marlin). The seat post on my bike was angled back in a way that I had to slide my seat forward as far as it would go and the rack as far back as it would go so I could squeeze the child seat onto the rack and secure it.One the seat was "secured" to the bike is not locked tight. (Meaning that it could still wiggle some.)Finally I want to say that the seat and rack are made out of cheap material and if I have seen this seat in person I would have never bought it.I only got this seat over the other options, because it had handle bars for my son to hold onto. We had just come back from the beach where we had rented a bike with a seat similar to this and he loved it. It was the only seat I could find on amazon that had handles like this.
