A: Waxed paper is either soybean (organic) or paraffin (made of vegetable oil or petroleum based; so it is compostable.

**Q: Would these hold a 6 inch pocket pie?**
A: They hold a full sandwich, but a 6 inch pot pie (depending on its height) probably wouldn't fit well.

**Q: Will these fit pizzelles?**
A: Yes, these are 6 inches in width and will fit the pizzelles.

**Q: Would these be an appropriate size for a soft pretzel?**
A: I believe the bag would be a little short for a full sized pretzel. You wouldn't be able to fold the top of the bag to close it unless your using mini sized pretzels or more of a circular sized. I also purchased decorative stickers so the flap remained closed and made it look festive. Hope this helps.
