Full color display gives you current temperatures & humidity, with a future forecast whether it could be sunny or rainy to snowy. Features accurate, self-set atomic time & date with automatic DST updates. Records min/max values and alerts you of extreme temperatures. Also displays your heat index and dew point. Will indicate of low battery and reception strength. Batteries required (not included.).Weather Station Factory Restart Explanation: The factory restart returns the weather station and outdoor sensor to an ?out-of-the-box? default state and often resolves an issue. Factory Restart: 1. Remove all power (batteries and AC) from outdoor sensor and weather station. 2. Press one of the buttons on the weather station at least 20 times to clear all memory. 3. Verify that the weather station is blank before proceeding (there may be lines painted on the screen that will show when there is no power). 4. Leave both units without power for 15 minutes (very important). 5. Insert the AC power cord into the wall outlet then into the weather station. 6. Insert fresh batteries into the outdoor sensor. 7. Press the TX button on the outdoor sensor to transmit RF signal. 8. Keep the outdoor sensor 5-10 feet from the weather station. 9. When RF connection is established, the temperature will appear on the station. Allow the outdoor sensor and weather station to sit together for 15 minutes to establish a strong connection. 10. Do not press buttons for 15 minutes. POSITION Outdoor: • Protect the remote sensor from standing rain or snow and from the overhead sun, which can cause it to read incorrectly. • Mounting under an eave or deck rail works well. • If you choose, you can construct a small roof or box for the remote sensor. Be sure a box has vents. • Mount the remote sensor on the North side where to prevent sun from causing incorrect readings. • Mount at least 6 feet in the air for a strong RF (radio frequency) signal. • Do not mount the remote sensor on a metal fence. This significantly reduces the effective range. • Remote sensors are water resistant, not waterproof

Review: EZ to set up - Love it. EZ to set up, worked the first time, unlike the Newentor I had to return. The display is bright and easy to read, including the day and date, which were too small and dim on the Newentor Q3. The only con is the loud annoying beep that accompanied any button press. I asked them how to turn it off. They said, "Sorry."

**Q: same question again....can it be wall mounted?**
A: wall mounting

**Q: Does this have variable brightness settings?**
A: But there's a HUGE problem with the backlight in a dark room -- even the intermediary "dim" mode is way way way too bright. So you have to turn it all the way off when sleeping making it close to useless. The manufactor really should have at least one more dim setting just above OFF. The Newentor FJ3378 I used 2 years ago is much better than this one.

**Q: Whats the difference beyween this unit and the S88907**
A: The S88907 has a humidity range of 1% to 99% RH. It also includes an Indoor comfort range: Too DRY (1-25%), DRY (26-39%), Comfort OK (40-75%), Wet (76-83%), Too Wet (84-99%), and a 300 foot wireless transmission range. The 308-1414B has a humidity range: 19% to 97% RH, and a 200 foot wireless transmission range.

**Q: Does it come with batteries?**
A: No it doesn't come with batteries you'll need 2 double A's for the outdoor sensor (which pretty much have to be lithium ion batteries or the outdoor sensor will constantly loose sync with the indoor screen and not display a temp or humidity) and three triple A's for the display screen .

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Connectivity Sensor to base station not good

I received this weather station today. Setup was easy and the device looks good. The first thing I noticed when the sensor connected to the base station is that the battery indicator indicated "low" even with brand new, fresh batteries. I tried several batteries from a fresh pack, always the same result. The base station was plugged into 110V via the power source which came with it. The sensor worked flawlessly as long as it was between 1-15ft from the base station. The base station showed a connection with 5 bars. But when I moved the sensor 6ft across my deck and tried to mount it there the base station lost the signal and never regained it. The reach of 300ft is a joke! I found a way to mount the sensor underneath the glass table on my deck and have now a 5 bar connection and decent temperature and humidity readings. This also provides very good protection for the sensor from the elements. In summer I have sun on that deck for a couple of hours. I assume that skews the temperature and humidity readings during that time. But I can live with that. What bothers me is the poor signal strength I get when I move the sensor just a few feet further and that the battery level indicator for the sensor keeps on showing "Low". Therefore the 2 stars. I like the looks of the station and so far the accuracy. I will update my review in the future should the battery level indicator or anything else change. Update on 6/3/2019: I have had this weather station for over two months now and have upgraded it to 4 stars. It works perfectly and with good accuracy. The location I put the sensor at turned out to be a great location because the sensor is protected and when the sun is shining on the deck I put the sun umbrella up and the sensor reading is not affected by direct sun exposure. Batteries seem to be holding up just fine. The battery indicator has not shown up again but I can live with that. Overall very good product I can recommend with only minor things to criticize. Therefore 4 stars out of 5.
