## Description

The Scratch Stock is an old tool dating back centuries to a time when furniturewas made one piece at a time in the workshops of master craftsmen. It wasused to shape edge profiles, cut grooves for inlaid stringing, and many othersuch detailed tasks. Althoughthe Scratch Stock has become less familiar since the advent of modern router technology, it still holds an important place in the tool chest of the well-equipped woodworker. Its versatility, ease of setup and control, and ability to access difficult areas makethe Scratch Stock especially useful in the repair, restoration and reproduction of antique furniture. I received it in good condition.  It it truly a piece of CRAP.  I have already tossed it in the trash and started looking for the real thing.  A real one will cost a lot more, but at least I will have one.
