I bought them to hang my christmas cards up buy they also decorate the room lovely when turned on. The quality is good for what I paid. However imagine the pegs could snap very easily if you are not careful they are very delicate and probably would not use the out side because of this reason. Battery were easy to install (3AA) however I would say the box is quite ugly as you can see the battery would have preferred in opaque but that's personal opinion. The main negative about this product is it took 35minutes for me to untangle them ot was an absolute nightmare so much that I nearly sent them back. They were bright but easily dimmable and had a number of sequences which could be used to change the look.
