I bought these to drape in my newly decorated "party" garage for pandemic "safe" socializing. My first mistake was missing that these are battery operated, not plug in. That was my fault for not reading carefully. I kept them anyway and figured I'd use them elsewhere. What I didn't expect was that they would be so thin, with the lights so spaced apart and somewhat dim. The width of the "rope" is skinnier than a pencil or a drinking straw. The remote works just fine and the lights add a little fun to my setup, but they don't contribute much light. Meh. Wouldn't buy them again.

I like the small tube lights. The battery pack is solidly built with a snap lid. The romote is also nice. I ordered 2 packs of these. They are seemingly overpriced for what they are. I paid probably twice of what they should have costs. The main problem in both of these light sets is that they won't shut off. The off button on the romote doesnt work and then the battery button box button also doesn't shut it off. I have to open up the battery box and jiggle the off on button several times in all sorts of directions in order to get the lights to shut off! The other thing I didnt like was that the lights are too far apart. For the price I paid, I felt I got a cheap set of lights.

These are lengthy! I have 3 sets on my patio. Only one set on in the picture. They link together so one remote controls them all. Double sided tape has held them up, so they're not heavy.Don't look to read from them! They just provide enough light to see to move around on a dark night, which is great for conversation on the patio. They're LEDs, so don't draw bugs. Battery operated. Had them up little over 3 months and I have not had to change batteries yet (even left them on all night one night). Highly recommend!

I had tree outside my house and i wanted to decorate that tree with light but i didnt have any power supply to power any serise light then i found this light wich works on battery power and they are bright so it works great.

The length makes it all the way around my kitchen! There are many settings to choose from and it's all battery operated so they don't have to be plugged in.

Liked them at first. Warm white light, battery operated and timer option was nice. It was a little thinner than I anticipated but they still emitted a pleasant amount of light.Less than six months later I realized the lights were intermittently turning on. At first I thought it was the timer that accidentally got set but after turning it off I noticed it turned on at some point and never turned off until the batteries died. I replaced the batteries, put the remote in a remote place where it couldn’t accidentally be turned on or set the timer. At some point they turned on and stayed on, draining the battery yet again. I’d advise to continue the search for a more reliable longer lasting product.

I recently purchased these lights for my outdoor wedding. While I have not yet had the chance to test the timer feature, the lights are very bright and have a lot of great settings. I was a little hesitant to purchase after reading the reviews, but I order two rope lights and they both came perfect. I also really like the fact that the lights can be operated using the manual box at the end of the strand of lights or by using a remote. Very handy in case the remote gets lost or broken.

Perfect lighting. I put these above my kitchen cabinets. I love that I can dim or brighten and also can change blink pattern and rhythm. And it has a remote!! Will be ordering more.
