The set of pencils you get: 4H, 2H, 3H, HB, B, 2B, 3B, 4B, 5B, 6B, 7B, and 8B. You also get compressed charcoal - hard, medium, and soft - as well as vine charcoal, which is nice if you've never used charcoal before but want to give it a try. Blending stumps so your fingers won't get too messy. Pencil sharpeners so you don't need to switch pencils if you break a lead - the pencil leads don't break easy unless you use a heavy hand. The set comes with a charcoal holder for the vine charcoal to eliminate mess on the fingers.You also get a 50 page sketch book - which alone would cost between $10-$15 anywhere else.If you purchased each of the items separately you would pay well over what this set is being sold for.
