Review: Great indoor bike for the price. Outstanding product support! - I was skeptical about this item due to the low price. However, I am pleasantly surprised at the quality and relative ease of assembly. Assembly: It took me about 90 minutes to assembly, 30 of which involved unwrapping the yards of tape, plastic, and styrofoam in which the bike is packed. The bike comes with a box wrench and combo Allen wrench/screwdriver needed for assembly. The most important tool for assembly however is a box cutter to open the box and free the pieces. The actual assembly was easy--in the first step, make sure to attach the two base pieces in the correct place. The one with wheels goes on the front with the wheels facing forward and slightly down. Bike: Once assembled, the bike is VERY sturdy and balanced. No movement front-to-back or side-to-side. There is a knob at the bottom of the frame below the seat that can be adjusted so there are five contact points to anchor the bike. You can easily move it by lifting the rear of the bike and using the small rollers on the front. This might be tougher on carpet as opposed to a smooth surface. The only flimsy part of the bike is the plastic monitor. The edge on top of the monitor fits a cell phone, Kindle, or tablet. It is not deep enough for a book. The footprint of the bike is great for a small space. I would guess you need a space about 3' x 5' to use the bike; 2' x 5' when it is not in use. Use: This bike is very quiet, as advertised. I use a fitness tracker so I have not connected the monitor to the apps noted in the instructions. I used the monitor to gauge speed. The resistance adjustment is pretty easy to access while riding and can be adjusted while you ride. One caution is that this is not a bike for someone six feet or taller. I am about 5' 9" in workout shoes, and there is only a couple of inches left to adjust the seat for someone taller. The seat is comfortable. The back rest is also comfortable, but gets warm. A mesh back rest would be a better design. Conclusion: I highly recommend this bike if you need a low-cost, high-quality recumbent bike, do not have much space, and want something quiet to operate. EDIT--July 2026. After working fine for several months, the display stopped working. The pulse would register, but not time, distance, or calories, and the display would shut off after two or three minutes. I contacted the seller via desertcart, and they promptly sent a replacement display board. When that did not address the issue, the seller worked with me over several days to identify the problem. The support team sent a replacement sensor wire and the tools necessary to remove one of the pedals to replace the sensor wire. In about 30 minutes, I disassembled a portion of the bike, replaced the wire, and reassembled the bike. The display now works perfectly. It is a rare thing now days for a company to stand by its product, especially a year after the original purchase.
Review: Excellent purchase ... So glad I purchased it. No regrets at with the bike or the Customer Service - I don’t really write reviews. Shame because I look at them all the time. Don’t really know how to do it and I think it takes too much of my time. The same way I really hate to read assembly instructions. I just don’t have the patience for it. So I let my wife handle that - my wife finds reading those instructions challenging. This time is much different. I am exited about writing this review because I am really satisfied with my purchase of the Vanswee Recumbent Bike. I am a bicycling enthusiast. It’s been two months since I had spine surgery - a three level laminectomy from L2-3, L3-4 and L 4-5 as a result of severe and progressive Spinal Stenosis. The orthopedic surgeon told me that I cannot ride for some time. It may be 6 months plus. So I have to find a way to get those cycling muscles active and ready for when he gives me the okay to ride again. I asked him for exercise alternatives such as a treadmill and exercise bike. He said okay for the treadmill but no for any exercise bike because of my forward bending position of my back. Then I asked about a recumbent bike. After giving it some thought he said fine with the recumbent bike. So I immediately started my search ... so many ... so varying prices. I wanted something neat and affordable. The search lead me to the Vanswe Recumbent Exercise Bike 16 Levels Resistance 380 lbs with adjustable seat. I found it basic, stylish and beautiful in silver/black. With transport wheels / Bluetooth connectivity for Seniors workout and most important for me very “affordable”. I ordered it through desertcart on March 12 with expected delivery March 25. Long wait but I wanted it so I accepted the wait. To my total surprise the bike was delivered on March 18. How it happened I didn’t care. The fact is that it was delivered way ahead of time. I was really happy for that. Now the hard part - anxiety was setting in because I had to assemble it and I hate reading instructions. I left it in the box unopened for two days. Finally I opened the box and started removing all parts from the box. Every part was so perfectly put in the box that I told my wife that no human could have everything in the box so tightly - it had to be a machine. After I removed all parts from the box and lay them down on the floor I realized how neat everything was. The hardware was neatly marked and packaged. The instructions were So Perfect that I was amazed at how simple it was to assemble the bike. I was really exited about how easy to read simple the instructions were. Everything matched perfectly. Even my wife made the comment that she had never seeing better down to the letter instructions. To my surprise, assembling this bike was an amazing experience. It also rides very quiet. Wait, that’s not all ... I had some questions about the bike. So I called the company’s Support representative. The young man very respectfully listen to my inquiries and asked me to email them all of my concerns or questions. So I did. In less than 36 hours I received a response. That was satisfying. But wait, they even called me to discuss my questions. Who does that ? The gentleman was courteous, respectful and truly caring about my questions about the bike. These people are Awesome. Outstanding !!! I’m having fun with my recumbent bike. It’s great. In these times of very rare caring and service for customers, shocking or not, I have to say that this people are the Very Best.

I was skeptical about this item due to the low price. However, I am pleasantly surprised at the quality and relative ease of assembly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent for the money

It was a little worried when I saw how small it was as I thought it would be a little bit bigger but it's actually very comfortable.. It took me 2 hours approximately to assemble but I'm not usually very good at that kind of thing.. Pros: Affordable. Quiet: It's really smooth and quiet when you are riding it. Compact : I think it's only 43 in long so it doesn't really take up a lot of room. I have it next to my treadmill in the garage and still have plenty of room. Tension : The click shift to change the tension is really good. It's very nice that there are 16 different settings which gives you a lot more options for how tough or easy you want it to be. And it's just one click to change it to the next setting so it's very well done and easy to change during the workout. It's Cons: As a few other people have mentioned the computer on it is basically useless. The heart rate monitor is so inaccurate it's laughable and most of the information on the computer is not close to accurate. There's a reason that I'm good treadmills and bikes and other workout equipment you have to enter your weight and your height and your sex so that it can give a fair estimation of how many calories you're burning but a bike with a computer that doesn't ask for any of that information can't give you even a close estimate of how many calories you're really burning. A person who weighs 200 lb is going to burn a lot more calories than a person that weighs 150. I just used the computer as a gauge to compare to previous and future workouts. (The instruction book does come with a fitness app you can download that's supposedly connects with Bluetooth to the computer but the app only has a 1.5 out of 5 star review on Google) Size: I am 5'10 in about 160 lb and the bike is comfortable for me. I have a lot of workout experience on different equipment and I have a hard time believing this would be comfortable for someone up to 6'2 like it says. And even though it's fairly sturdy I don't think that this would be a good bike for someone up to 280 lb as the seller suggests. I think for women and seniors and for people about my size it's perfect but I think it's probably a little bit small for somebody that's much heavier they might want to go with a little bit heavier duty better bike. No cup holder. That last one is just a little nitpick. It's pretty uncommon though for workout equipment not to have a holder for your drink nowadays but I wouldn't let that be a deal breaker. Overall: I am happy with the purchase. I spend about 80% of my time on the treadmill but I wanted a bike. I probably would have gone with a higher end bike if I was going to use it more but this is going to be more than adequate and I think it's a good value for the money.
