Had to return them. Check cables make sure they're all secure. Make sure the usb outlet has enough power. If push comes to shove exchange it for another one. The sound of the 3rd Gen Dot is amazing compared to this product and Alexa will hear you. In my opinion, you should not use your money trying to make your 2nd Gen Dot better with this...
