Although it is still in the same location at one end of the hose as pictured, it now consists of a white plastic x-ring retaining a smaller black o-ring inserted onto an orange plastic flow regulator. Once you unscrew the grey plastic filter and rubber washer covering it with needlenose pliers and set them aside, the best removal tool for grabbing, yanking out and getting rid of that entire flow restrictor assembly underneath that I've described is by piercing the whole thing with a winebottle corkscrew and pulling it out. Then screw the grey filter back in tight, gently tuck the rubber washer back down around it. Now screw the other end of that hose to your shower arm and hand tighten. Then screw the showerhead to the hose and hand tighten.
