Even though they are from different companies, the shorts are exactly the same except for one key detail - bottom hemline of the shorts. Unlike my first pair, these shorts do not have a normal flipped over and finished hem like I'm used to, but a fancy-looking stitch where the fabric naturally ends.The problem was that became immediately clear within an hour of wearing these for the first time because the bottom hem likes to flip up and expose a small amount of the inside color. If you look close, you can see that happening in pictures that other reviewers have uploaded as well. I'm not a fan of it and wish they were hemmed like the first pair I bought. It's not the worst thing in the world, but I think that makes them look less finished/nice. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Comfortable with minor flaws *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on July 22, 2018* Very comfortable shorts; yet they lack certain qualities I look for in some comfy pants. First and foremost I should say these feel soft and if you go for a larger size the length is well below the knee. I'm 6'2" with a 42" waist and the XXL fit nice. That being said where I find these shorts lacking most of all is the pocket depth. Sometimes while relaxing I need to run to a store real quick. Well don't expect your phone, or anything else to feel secure in these front pockets. The moment you slip into your car seat if the phone doesn't drop on the ground outside, it's sure to tumble out and slide directly under your seat. I have no complaint's about the back pocket, only I'm glad it's there and wouldn't have bought these shorts if it wasn't there. One other very minor issue I have with this brand is I bought two pair and both of them have mismatched lengths of cinch strings. These are the type where the strings are stitched to a fixed point at the back of the waist so you can't pull them to make them even. I know, I know it's the biggest first world problem but I believe in symmetry. Who isn't bothered by this to some degree? For the price, I expect a little more quality control since I can buy these same type of shorts at a store for the same price without either complaint. Overall I like them and would give 3.75 stars if I could. ### ⭐⭐ What I Don't Like About These. *by W***A on Reviewed in the United States on February 26, 2019* They Pill Like Crazy. I'll have to use a clothes shaver after 2 wearings.The Color is more faded Grey than Navy.I expected the XXL 38" Expanded Waist to be snug.Not on my 39" waist.Below the knee long. Passe look. I'll probably hem them.I prefer a waist cord that matches the color of the fabric.They cut expenses by using white cord on all the shorts.They should change the design to an inside tie cord.My iPhone fell out of the back pocket, luckily the pocket is wideand I was able to turn my 5s sideways across the bottom.What I do like about them? The faded areas look natural andthe front pockets.
