These black Birchwood Comfort Chef Shoes have an open back heel and are designed for comfort as well as safety with an 8mm wooden Birchwood insole for excellent arch support. The seamless, nail-free leather construction is water-resistant and easy to clean. The soles are anti-static, slip-resistant and chemical resistant for stability and comfort in a busy kitchen. The Birchwood Chef Clog is unisex and available in European sizes 35-46. Your clogs will be completely unique. In fact, no two pairs are identical - a result of the hand craftsmanship done by our own clog specialists. Clean with warm soapy water on a damp cloth. Water will not damage the wood, the important thing is just to dry slowly – no direct sunlight or on the radiator. If a wood chip is kicked off the sole it can be glued back on. I specially appreciate the built in arch support (would have been perfect with a bit higher heel in my opinion) and the birchwood which provides efficient moisture regulation. The sole material however feels hard (not shock absorbing) and slippery on stairs nosing, for example. Also, because of the absence of flexibility, it’s really not comfortable to kneel down to reach under counter.

those clogs fit as expected in size 44.
