## Questions & Answers

**Q: What can this be used for and how do i programme it to use it for that use?**
A: Is just like a NFC tag. You can set up a task on the tag and everytime you touch it will action whatever you have set up to do. You can for exemple have it as a password for your apps. Or set up a link for a page that you want to share with someone.

**Q: What app do i need to use to programme this with tasks on Google Play, or do I need more hardware?**
A: I have one of these tags & use NFC by Nicolo Stanciu (available on the App Store) for IOS programming which I highly recommend as it has many, many features, including NFC tag read & write, QR code/barcode creator & scanner, document scanner, NFC expert tutorial & many more features, including a very cool room scanner. The tutorials are in depth & easy to understand to get your NTAG216 implant doing pretty much whatever you want it to. Another highly recommended app I use is NFC tools. This is equally as good & also very user friendly. Despite what previous comments say Pooh - poohing these NTAG216 implants, they are indeed the real deal & are exactly the same chips of this kind & preloaded sterile syringes as those sold by Dangerous Things, they’re just unbranded. Mine has been in for over six months now & is used as a medical ID tag, amongst other things. A few words of warning; Although the chip is painless & unnoticeable once it’s in there, the process of injecting it is not for the inexperienced nor faint of heart. The needle is approximately 4.2mm wide, and although it doesn’t have to go all that deep, it DOES have to go beneath all layers of skin, and although the needle is incredibly sharp, due to to large gauge of the needle it does require quite a lot of pressure to push it all the way under the skin, which if you’re not careful can lead to pushing too hard & causing injury. Extreme caution is to be taken when choosing site of implantation so as not to rupture or obstruct blood vessels. Self implantation is very fiddly if implanting into the recommended site, which is in between the back of the hand between the index finger & thumb of your non-dominant hand. I strongly recommend getting someone else to help by pinching the skin up whilst either they or yourself insert the needle & inject the chip. STERILE TECHNIQUE & CONDITIONS ARE MANDATORY. Previous experience & training at giving subcutaneous injections are highly recommended also. If you’re not experienced at self injecting using proper technique then I strongly recommend that you let someone else who is (a friend who is a nurse maybe?) to do it for you. And make no mistake about it, these things hurt if you don’t use a local anaesthetic. High quality, deep penetrating tattoo numbing cream is what I used to implant my own chip & it worked great. That was on the second attempt after trying to inject my implant without it. I’m used to giving myself both substances & intramuscular injections & was trained by a nurse to do so, and stupidly thought that this procedure would be very easy & relatively painless to do on my own & without an anaesthetic & using forceps to pinch the skin up. No, it hurts. A lot. Second attempt (after professionally re sterilisation of the needle) I got my wife to pinch the skin as I injected the implant. But only after using an anaesthetic! The skin in the recommended area is deceivingly thick & tough, and takes quite a lot of pressure to push the needle all the way through. I hope this information helps, both on the software & technique. These chips are not to be taken lightly, but they are high quality & reliable. Kindest regards,
R.

**Q: Is this compatible for contactless payments?**
A: no could never get this implant to work

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It’s amazing
*by A***H on 9 November 2018*

It works well but it takes time to find the scanner on a phone to read it but on a bus it works amazingly. The needle was a bit big for my liking(5 to 8 mmW). You have to put the chip in to the chamber your self apart from all of that it is amazing

### ⭐ would not work on a reader
*by D***0 on 10 October 2021*

tried 2 different readers and it would not be picked up, used iphone and had to have it right up to the back of the phone, would never do anything as a implant.cheap animal tag trying to use the dangerous things as a selling point

### ⭐ Doesn’t work, asked seller for help and was told to figure it out with Amazon.
*by B***R on 29 May 2022*

Tried scanning the chip and it wasn’t even recognising there was a chip there
