**Q: How thick is the material? Is it really weatherproof? How tight of a fit is it? Is the elastic band just elastic material or bungee cord?**
A: The cover material is a decent thickness, sturdy with good stitching. I have used it out in the elements continuously since Oct 2018 in the back of my pickup and it has handled the cold and wet very well. There is some slack in the fit, but not too much....I think it’s a good fit. The cord at the bottom is a bungee, but does an excellent job of fitting snuggly around the base of the Predator....I am using a heavy ratchet strap to secure the covered generator to the center/front of my pickup bed with a thick coated cable intertwined in the handles underneath the cover and then locked to one of the front/side lockdown mounts in the pickup bed. Hope this helps!

**Q: Does it weigh 15 lbs? Shipping weight says 1???**
A: 138lbs with full tank of gas.

**Q: is this waterproof**
A: My Predator is under a covered deck so don’t know if cover is waterproof.

**Q: Can you use this cover to protect the generator from rain while it's running?**
A: No it would restrict airflow and block the exhaust.

This cover seems to be priced a bit high but it fits the generator snug, stays on tight with the bungee and looks darned nice. I am using it mostly as a dust cover in the garage.

I was expecting good quality fabric construction for the price. Wish I would have gone to Harbor Freight and bought the one they sell for half the cost. I would not buy again.
