I work in a professional setting - so dress code is usually a shirt and tie, often with jacket. Meaning I spend **a lot** of time in dress shoes. These are comfortable to wear all day without developing any hot spots.Like any leather shoes (and these are real-deal full grain leather) they will be a bit stiff out of the box. But after wearing them for a day or two they break in nicely and are really quite comfortable.I've only had this pair for a few weeks now - and these are my first Rockport dress shoes so I can't comment on durability. But looking at the materials they're made of I hope they'll last a while. After about 3 months of use (about 2-3 days per week in an office setting) the right shoe developed a crack in the sole on the arch of my foot. This went all the way through the shoe so water can get in through the crack if I step on a wet surface.
