Aside from the price, I was hugely disappointed when I opened and used for the first time. It seemed a lot like the β€˜last of the mascara’ instead of a brand new one! Now that I've found it, I'll never go back to plain black.I purchased the one for green eyes, and at a glance I thought it was just brown. But when I spread some on a tissue, I saw that there are little shimmery flakes of purple and green in it. That's how it makes your eyes look greener - both green and purple will enhance green eyes. The shimmer is VERY subtle, which is nice because my husband is very anti-glitter. It's almost more of a shine than a sparkle. And the brown base is nice, because it looks natural. This mascara really just makes me look like I have naturally beautiful eyes (rather than looking like I'm wearing mascara).I also bought the one for blue eyes, and that one has blue sparkles and is a lot more shimmery/sparkly than the one for green eyes.
