Review: Very tough, brilliant watch. - This is a great watch, tough (unbreakable strap bars), 100m water resistant, hard wearing strap, very legible, and accurate. In fact it is lucky it is tough, because the desertcart US packaging was terrible! No box, no instructions, just stuck in a plastic bag and put in a thin jiffy bag, I am amazed the watch crossed the Atlantic without any sign of damage, even the crown was unscrewed....to be honest, if it hadn't had the case back sticker on it, I would have wondered if it was new. Conclusion: Watch brilliant, desertcart packaging poor.

**Q: What is the exact movement on this watch? Japanese is not enough detail for me.**
A: Cheap miyota movement same as most quartz watches

**Q: Is the watch in the off position when I receive it? Or is already running?**
A: If you buy direct from Bertucci, the stem will have a small plastic stopper preventing it from running.

**Q: Is this the older model? From the Bertucci site I can see that the dial logo and bracelet are slightly different.**
A: I have no idea if this is an older model or not, however I own three of these watches and I recommend them from a watch collector. They  are a great all around beater watch.

**Q: how long is the band?**
A: 10” band only. 10.5” if you measure from the tip of the buckle. Great watch by the way.

This watch is great, white plain figures on a black backround ideal for those of a certain age (50+) whose eyesight is not what it used to be, the watch is accurate, stylish and robust, however the strap supplied is like wearing a length of 2" by 1" timber, I thought it would soften with time but after 4 weeks of 16 hours per day wearing it hasn't. I will have to get a more comfortable strap. The suppliers of these fine watches should make an effort to provide a nicer quality strap but in saying that do not be put off buying one because of an easily replaced accessory.
