They worked well in the Cap-M-Quik device and I had no complaints about them after encapsulating several thousand capsules successfully.There were high hopes as I opened the delivery box that arrived promptly from the nearby Amazon Fulfillment Center. However, my smile turned into a scowl when I saw the thin baggie containing the capsules had opened while in transit. A few dozen capsules rattled around, loose in the box. See attached photo.Included in the box with the Tapioca capsules were two other items on the order, including a thick resealable supplement powder pouch of hyaluronic acid and a small plastic container of agmatine sulphate about half the size of a 10 ounce coffee can. The other items were OK.It was pretty obvious from first glance that the bag had nothing to secure it on top where it was meant to be opened. There were only a few spot welds of heat to hold the bag shut. On a scale from 1 to 5, with 5 being a strong, airtight, resealable container, I would rate the packaging as a 1.Taking a risk, I decided to keep them. I could have sent it back for a replacement but the exposed capsules were not growing mold or dangerously adulterated, so I put aside my disappointment.A few days later, when using the capsules in the Cap-m-Quik, I had to toss out a unacceptable number of cracked or misshapen capsules, with holes or "missing tapioca" in the rounded ends, maybe incompletely molded at the factory. A few others gave some resistance in the capping device.Overall the empty capsules seemed a little sticky compared to Capsulline capsules which are dry. The Tapioca capsules were clear as the powders looked whiter than the tinged Capsulline.In summary, the purity of the Tapioca capsule product is its best positive selling point. And, the price was almost reasonable. However, this was overwhelmed by the flimsy package they are sold in, and the higher percentage of rejects or difficult capsules, compared to my regular brand.Because I consider real reviews to be a valuable, money-saving form of unpaid labor, I only occasionally come across a product that merits my time and effort. However, I felt strongly enough to want to warn other potential buyers about these issues.I won't buy these capsules again, and don't recommend them to anyone, except an enemy. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Used to be fantastic, lately product has not been good. *by H***N on Reviewed in the United States on February 1, 2019* I've been ordering from capsule connection for a long time. I recently switched to the vegan vegetarian capsules. Originally we were getting a different one and never had a broken or damaged capsule in a whole bag of 1000. Maybe one. When I switched, there would be a couple more damaged ones. But still they were great. The last two orders, there were several damaged capsules. The most recent one, the bag was filled with chunks of, or pieces of damaged and broken capsules. Several were not useable whatsoever. They cracked upon inserting in the machine, or were already cracked. Some were just completely smashed to bits. I'm not sure if it was the style of capsule, the weather or the packaging that caused this. But I was very disappointed. I have been recommending capsule connection to everyone who asks me where to get the best capsules. But after the most recent order, I am embarrassed that I've done so. I will try again one more time before I look for a new company to buy from. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent product. I have a capsule filler machine but you can still make yours without one. I use these and am very happy with the quality, price, and that they are vegan/vegetarian (other gelatin capsules are made from animal's bone marrow). I buy powdered organic Tumeric (with organic black pepper to increase absorption), Morninga, and powdered Kratom and use these empty capsules to make my own for a fraction of what companies charge for their non-organic, pesticide ridden supplements.
