If you are looking for a non-metal buckle so that you can go through airport metal detectors, then this is not for you because the buckle is metal. BUT THESE I do like.While they might look cheap they are very strong and easy to tighten to the perfect fit and you can easily adjust them. I would compare them to those ratcheting belts but these are even easier.The only downside is that they are strictly casual, nothing fancy her and they are wide belts so probably could not use them with dress pants even if you wanted to.A lot of makers make this style belt buckle, not sure how they compare other than they all seem to be the same size and a dull plastic finish with a generic strap belt.
