The reason we bought the unit was to replace a hand pill crusher that was wearing out, and would no longer crush the pills fine enough to be swallowed. But fish oil when crushed leaves sharp bits of dangerous covering, have to use scissors and spill it out.. Curcumin also has to be opened by hand and powder comes out.
