Seems to be a quality item. Only time will tell how well the paint holds up with use. One word of caution, if you painted your walls and didn't remove the cover plates first everyone will know once you switch to these coverplates plates as the odd shape covers more in some areas and less in others than a regular switch plate. If you do purchase this item go all out and get the outlet covers too. It makes a difference.
